How Do You Get Sweat Stains Out Of Baseball Caps Without Ruining Them?

As soon as the summer sun starts hiding between the clouds, you don’t need hats or visors to protect your eyes. As a matter of fact, I am pretty sure you have thrown away these old and dingy hats thinking they won’t be needed until spring. Yes, most people do this rather than cleaning them first.

Most hats and baseball caps get really dirty and sweaty inside, and if you don’t wash them periodically, those sweat stains will become permanent. Therefore, it will make your favorite hat or visor look worn and grubby. Even washing it in the washer won’t remove that dirt. Your favorite baseball cap will need some magic tricks to restore its appearance.

Here is the most effective magic solution to clean and remove dirt from your hats and visors.

🛒 You need:

▪ 1 cup of lemon juice
▪ 1 cup of warm water
▪ 1 tablespoon of dish soap
▪ Cloth
▪ Latex gloves

◾ Firstly, put the baseball cap into a small bowl.

◾ Then, mix lemon juice with warm water and apply it to the sweat stains.

◾ Leave the cap sit for 4 hours, then remove it and rinse with warm water.

◾ Apply mild dish soap to a damp cloth and rub the remaining sweat stains off the baseball cap. Dirt will be transferred to the damp cloth.

◾ Once the cap is dirt-free, rinse it well with water and let it air dry.

⚾ METHOD #2

You can also use another effective solution to get rid of stains on hats, especially white ones.

◾ Put two aspirins in a cup of water and dissolve them. Apply the mixture liberally to the stain and let it set for two hours. Apply a gentle laundry detergent and scrub the stains with a toothbrush.

◾ Rinse with warm water and let it air dry.
